Rest + Retreat Guided Reiki Meditation Workshop
The cold and darker days of winter call for us to retreat, to take time for deep rest. Join me for a restorative one-hour guided Reiki meditation workshop on Monday, January 27 at 7:30 pm at PCW to experience what it feels like to rest deeply and relax the body, calm the mind, and reduce stress and anxiety. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to Reiki followed by gentle seated movements and soothing breath practices to promote relaxation and rest. As the meditation begins, you will be invited to lay down or stay seated, close your eyes, and relax. You’ll then be guided with a calming Reiki meditation, encouraging deep relaxation and a sense of peace. A period of silent integration will follow. Then you’ll be softly guided back to the waking world. Yoga/Pilates floor mats will be provided. You may want to bring a blanket for warmth. Dress comfortably and please feel free to bring any additional comforts, such as an eye pillow. I look forward to seeing you.
